We, Sun Lakers, are very fortunate to have free and easy access
to our wonderful libraries. Many residents take advantage of the
availability of both soft cover and hard cover books and really enjoy
a good read during the long hot summer. However, it takes quite a
few dedicated library volunteers to maintain our four libraries. We
always need a few more volunteers — many hands make light work,
you know. If you are able to donate an hour or two every other week
for this worthy cause, please call Lorene Sowash at 769-9999. As an
added bonus — you get first pick of any newly arrived books before
they are shelved!
Our libraries are stocked with the latest published works of many
of the best authors including Patricia Cornwell, Mary Higgins Clark,
Janet Evanovich, John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Debbie Macomber,
James Patterson, and Nicholas Sparks. Also, don't forget to go by
the paperback library in the Main Clubhouse and check out the new
large print books.
