Fall can be the perfect time of the year to make a resolution, renew an old one, or the perfect opportunity to jump start a resolution that might have fallen by the wayside since January. Do you have a goal for real weight loss success? One that is… specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely and smart? TOPS weekly meetings offer programs about nutrition, exercise, wellness and more. Our chapter provides ongoing support and encouragement to members no matter where they are in their weight-loss journey. TOPS meetings are held each Thursday at the South Clubhouse with weigh-ins starting from 9 to 9:50 am with meeting from 10 to 11 am. You may attend one meeting free of charge. Come and visit us! Best Losers of the Month are: Sandy Sky, Alan Gold, Carol White, Barbara Mowcomber, Janice Walsh, Peggy Andrews, Ruth Bray, and Carol Kreckow. KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) at their weight goal or under for the month were Alma Bolla, Pat Bonarigo, Linda Callahan, Audrey Carey, Marvine Cirar, Lauren Cutner, and Dorothy Monterville. Great job to all of our losers! Our TOPS chapter elected and installed the following Officers for 2015-2016: Leader - Peggy Andrews, Co-Leader – Janice Walsh, Secretary – Sandy Sky, Treasurer – Carolyn Wright. Beverly Reneau and Lillie Brown will be returning as the chapter Weight Recorders. Congratulations to all our new and returning chapter officers. A big thank you goes out to the officers and chairmen that served our chapter so well the past year. You are so much appreciated! TOPS members from Sun Lakes will be attending the Fall Rally to be held Sept. 26 at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, CA. Do you know that TOPS supports obesity research? TOPS has funded more that $8 million from member's donations in the clinical study and research into obesity and its causes with an eye toward safe, effective treatment.
