Yes, the 32 percent mandate is for all utility consumers of potable water in the city of Banning. • A Member commented on the rule concerning dog walking from a vehicle being prohibited. No questions asked. July Open Session Board Action Items • The Board appointed Patricia Bowen as a member of the Safety & Security Advisory Committee. • Amended IDR/ADR procedures that will require a member give advanced notice to the association if they intend on having an attorney present at an IDR meeting. Post amendment in clubhouses for homeowner notification. • The Board approved a rule change that restricts non-residents from becoming members of organizations at Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association. • The Board approved posting a rule change for member comment concerning revisions to the golf course rules and regulations. • The Board approved a recommendation from the Finance Advisory Committee to hold maturing CDs from July and August, in a 90 day money markets or 90 day CDs, with assurance that the fund will be insured at all times. • The Board approved to post, for member comment and review, a rule change pertaining to resident and vendor Vehicle Access Control Device (V.A.C.D.) fees and procedures. • The Board approved to initiate intent to lien/lien letters for six delinquent property owners. July Executive Session(s) Action (non-confidential) The Board of Directors held an Executive Session Board meeting on July 16 at which time litigation, member discipline, formation of contracts, and personnel matters were discussed. The Board instructed legal counsel on certain litigation, potential litigation, and assessment of related matters. The Board received and considered legal advice and opinions on litigation, potential litigation and other legal matters. The Board considered two requests for a Waiver of Delinquent Assessments and Related Fees. After careful consideration the Board voted to approve the first request and denied the second requests. The Board reviewed a request for partial refund on a member's 50 Play Golf Card. After careful consideration, the board voted to deny the refund request based on the established refund policy. The Board received a request for a payment plan on delinquent assessments and related fees. After careful review and consideration the Board denied the payment plan. The Board received a request for a temporary parking variance. After careful review and consideration, the Board voted to approve the temporary parking variance. The Board approved the ratification of the general manager's purchase of a commercial refrigerator. The refrigerator in the kitchen went down a few weeks ago, and this was an emergency purchase to replace. This refrigerator is a reserve item and the funds will come from a reserve account. The Board reviewed and discussed the resolution to forward three Delinquent Member Assessment Accounts to the Associations Delinquency Collection Attorney.
