Neighborhood Watch
24 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2015
It's that wonderful time of year again when the leaves change color,
the wind picks up and we start thinking about hot chocolate by the
fire. Sharing our thanks with family and friends, we move closer
to our holiday celebrations. Neighborhood Watch has a Holiday
Party Brunch/Potluck planned for Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 10 am in the
Ballroom with a special guest speaker. Sign ups for the potluck are in
the Lodge. All are welcome.
Here are a few holiday safety tips for you: if you are walking the
trails be aware of your nearest trail number in case of emergency
so that you can relay this to the emergency services. Also walk with
communication (cell phone, FRS radio) or even a whistle if you have
one.
Be aware of your surroundings when shopping, i.e. park away
from large trucks, lock your car, do not leave packages in clear view
of possible thieves, and walk briskly to and from the store. Do not sit
in your car on your cell phone.
Many thanks to our current Block Captains for their continued
support. If you are interested in becoming a Block Captain please
contact anyone on the Committee for more information. Call the
front desk for names and numbers.
From all of us on the committee for Neighborhood Watch we
wish you a wonderful and safe Holiday Season. "See something, say
something." ~ Susan Wilson
