48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2015
Horseshoe Club
Our club meets on Wednesday mornings at 8 am.
Our monthly social has become a big event with more members participating in it than playing horseshoes. If you want to add something
special to your itinerary here in paradise, the Horseshoe Club is a sure bet. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Ron
Erickson at (951) 846-3288, rejlerickson@sbcglobal.net or Gary Christie at (951) 845-0520, goldtoy@earthlink.net. ~ Ron Erickson
November was a busy month for
our group. We had a tournament with
a luncheon. Doubles partners are
selected by drawing numbers, so you
never know who you will play with or
against until that morning. Rotating
players with new partners makes for an
interesting competition. It is a fun way
to pair everyone up. The winners will be
announced in the next issue of the Breeze.
Several of our group members
participated in the Andalucia Country
Club tournament in La Quinta in October.
The participants were Richard Carrasco,
Nancy Barnaby, Rick von Kleist and Tracy
Maxwell, who entered according to skill
level or age. They had a great time and
many of our members were there to cheer
them on. Richard won third place in men's
doubles playing with his friend from
Hemet.
We are all looking forward to more
courts here at Four Seasons so we can hold
our own tournaments with outside groups.
Open play times are 8 to 11 am
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays.
