In a field of 10 players, Roland Harrah (that's me!)
charged into the final matches undefeated, only to be
eliminated by Larry Rice who won twice in a row to take
the 8-Ball in-house tournament this month. I actually
beat him in the third round of regular play but he won fair
and square in final double elimination. Congratulations
Larry!
For the 9-Ball in-house tournament there were 12
players participating and Dewey Allen raced to the finals
undefeated in regular play. Dewey met Rick Loney in the
first match of the finals and with Dewey winnning the
first game, clenching the monthly title.
Plans are underway for our annual Christmas party,
this year hosted by the Hemet (Solera) 8-Ball Club. Check
the bulletin board in the Billiards Room for the sign-up
sheet so we can give them a head count.
Congratulations to Dewey and Del our monthly
champions!
