| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2016 | 12 Architectural Committee Social Committee "Rock 'n 2016" was truly a great celebration for New Years Eve here at Four Seasons! Our Ballroom was filled with excited Four Seasons residents ready to say goodbye to 2015 and welcome 2016! All of this was orchestrated by Carolyn Ashdown and her dedicated hard working committee who provided another memorable new years eve for all who attended. Now the calendar was turned ahead in January for 2016, but for the month of February we are going to turn the calendar back to studio 54 for disco! This event which kicks off the 2016 social calendar promises to be a fun-filled night for dinner and dancing, as well as many of the songs that were popular during the disco era. "Do you remember?" and "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor; "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees; and "Dancing Queen" by ABBA, just to name a few. We will dance and listen music to "Temecula's Best DJ." Tickets are now on sale at the Lodge front desk for $2 per person and Chef Francisco will be serving another gourmet meal. Circle Sat., Feb. 20 on your calendar and join your friends and neighbors for our first social event of the year. While not mandatory, but fun, remember what we wore: bell bottoms, colorful polyester suits, platform shoes, hot pants, jumpsuits, sequins, glitter and gold lame. Surprise your friends and neighbors and come in the attire of your choice. Do you like to plan parties and/or social events? If so the social committee would like to hear from you. Leave a message at the Lodge front desk and you will be contacted by a member of the committee. We have a need for event chairs and co-chairs to balance out our 2016 calendar year for social events for you, our residents of Four Seasons. And the beat goes on… HAVE YOU FINISHED YOUR PROJECT? If you submitted an Exhibit E form to ARC to change your landscape, paint or any other project and you have finished that job, you must submit an Exhibit C (Notice of completion) that tells us you are done. The rule is that within 120 days of approval of your project, you must complete the project or request an extension. CAN THE AMBULANCE – FIREMEN – POLICE OR FRIENDS FIND YOU? While driving around looking at your Christmas decorations, I noticed that many home address numbers are hidden by bushes, climbing roses or other vegetation. The city requires that all addresses be visible from the street, so please prune or trim that over- growth. If you have a landscaper, tell them to cut back the plant so your address can be seen. WHEN IT RAINS TURN OFF OUTSIDE WATER CONTROL. When the forecasters predict rain (on TV or the Newspaper) that is the time to go into your garage and turn off the water control system. Don't wait until after the rain is over. If we get .20 (two tenths) of an inch or more you don't have to turn the control back on for five days or more. On Tues., and Wed., Jan. 5 and 6 we received about 1.50 (one and one half ) inches, which is enough for two to three weeks without watering your lawn & plants. .
