| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2016 |15 Sat., April 2, doors open at 6 pm, show starts at 7 pm, Main Clubhouse Ballroom, $10 pp. Cara Lee's singing career began at age 17 when she snuck into a bar to see a friend in a singing contest and entered the contest on a dare at the last minute – and won! She has been singing and entertaining crowds ever since. Cara Lee is originally from Toronto, Canada where she attended Sheridan College's Musical Theatre program. After graduating from college she began touring the resort circuits with show bands and then touring the country with original bands. Debuting with Legends In Concert at Bally's in Atlantic City, Cara has since gone on wowing audiences all over the United States and worldwide including Canada, Ireland, Australia, and Malaysia. Recently she had a very successful run in Righteous Brother Bill Medley's show – "50 Years Of Rock & Roll" in which she showed the versatility she is known for as she performed in the show as herself, Cher and Janis Joplin. This show ran for almost a year at the OC Pavilion in Orange County where she also produced her own show "Rock & Roll Divas." Following this, she returned home from a two month engagement in Cancun, Mexico where she performed as Cher, and then jumped into a country club tour of Palm Springs.
