Waterslides are a summertime staple.
We are lucky to have dual flume water
slides right here in Yucaipa! And that's
not all at Yucaipa Regional Park. The
park offers a wide range of outdoor
recreation including: fishing in three
lakes, a swim complex, and a sandy
beach area. You can rent aqua cycles
and pedal boats to go around the
lake for just $10 per half hour. It's a
bargain at $8 for park admission and
$10 for unlimited swim and waterslide
play.
The fishing is good too! Catfish
season begins May 22 and runs
through Sept. 4. The lake will be
stocked with catfish on Thursdays.
Park entry: Weekdays, $8 per vehicle;
Weekends and holidays ,$10 per
vehicle; $2 pedestrian fee. Fishing
permit is $8 per person and must
be purchased at the entry gate each
day and be in the angler's possession
while fishing. Permit is valid only at
the park where it is purchased. Turn
in the permit at the gate when leaving
the park for the day.
Yucaipa Valley Golf Club,
designed by the renowned golf
course architectural firm of
Rainville & Bye, is an 18 hole,
Championship-length, Par 72
course measuring 6,803 yards.
Cost is just under $30 per player.
For the 19th hole, you can enjoy
the new bar and the great view
of Yucaipa.
