SUMMER IS HERE! The theme of my past June articles focused
on three things: Residents walking in the streets, water conservation
and babies in diaper in the pool. The walking issue is ongoing, but
I've noticed fewer residents walking in the streets. For those who are
still walking in the street, please use the sidewalks!
Regarding water conservation, the conditions have fluctuated in
recent months. At the end of 2-15, we were headed to a Stage 4-b,
and a few months ago, the state relaxed its restrictions due to the
heavy rains up north. We are still in a drought and it will take a few
more years of rain before we are completely out of the woods. Keep
conserving!
Your Guests: if you are bringing guests to the pool during the
noon to 5 pm time frame, you must register them. Registration
takes place daily at the pool. Also, please take time to reacquaint
yourself with our Guest Rules. The Board hopes that all residents
can enjoy the pool, and ask that you treat your fellow residents with
respect when your little ones are visiting. The noon to 5 time period
is popular with residents as well, so let's all work together to enjoy
our time in the pool. One last reminder: diapers are prohibited in
the pool.
Come check out the newly remodeled picnic area! It is another
example of the dedication of our committees and the Board, working
together, to achieve an outcome for all to enjoy for years to come!
Lastly, have a good June and to those who are taking off for the
summer; enjoy your vacations. You've earned them!
