Music for the evening will be provided by Global Affair and the Stardust Dancers will perform their very colorful military routine which we all enjoy every year. Doors to the Ballroom open at 5:30 pm and the tables will be preset with the dinner salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and shredded carrots with ranch and Italian dressings. Our buffet service will begin at 6:30 pm where you will find some of your favorites – BBQ pork ribs, fried chicken, potato salad, fresh string beans with bacon bits, and corn bread muffins with honey and butter. We're having apple pie for dessert which will be table served along with coffee and water. You will find a sideboard with iced tea. Sign-ups for our monthly dinner dances take place on the first Thursday afternoon of every month at 3 pm at the North Clubhouse and our event is held on the second Thursday of every month. The price is $22 for members and $25 for a non-resident guest. If you miss the sign-up on Thursday you can still attend by calling Carol Hurt at 769-1315 until Sunday afternoon and she will assign a table to you. Also, if you find that you cannot attend after signing up, call Carol for a take-out meal box. After sign- ups, you can also cancel your reservation no later than Sunday afternoon in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be made after the deadline. Info., Diane Hofler, 769-9308. International Culture Club International Dancers International Dancers of Sun Lakes is pleased to announce two performances of our 2016 Festival of Dances and International Fashion Show: Sat., Aug. 27 at 7 pm and Sun., Aug. 28 at 3 pm. Tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase in the Main Clubhouse lobby Monday through Friday, 9 am to 2 pm, beginning Mon., July 11. As always, come early for best table selection. The show is unique and not to be missed. Our program is all new and will feature authentic dances of Hawaii, Mexico, Spain, China, Japan, India, the Middle East, and the USA. Our International Fashion Show will likewise showcase never before seen fashion/costumes from around the world. Exciting guest performers will be on hand to help us entertain you. In addition to being a spectacular show, this is also the annual fundraiser for IDS, with a portion of the proceeds donated to charity. We will have a 50/50 raffle and will also be raffling some very special gift baskets. Come join your friends and neighbors for a good time.
