We are on our way to the other half of 2016. The weather has
been warm for some time now. Time to sit back and listen to fine
music provided by Eli's Band, and perhaps dance the evening
away. The menu will be hors d' oeuvre and beverages. $10 for
members and $15 for non-members. Sign-ups will be on Wed.,
July 20 at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room, and
our Big Band Dance will be Thurs., July 28, doors open at 5:30 pm.
Call the neighbors, and come join us.

80s Plus Club
Our club was treated by a great variety show at
the April Meeting.
A special thanks to Rosa Gascoigne for
introducing Russell, a dynamic singer. He
performed songs from Nat King Cole, Tom Jones,
Elvis, Johnny Cash and several Hawaiian numbers
(his specialty). We had ended the program with
a special treat by his two sweet and very talented
daughters, four-years-old and six-years-old
singing a Disney song.
After Russell, the South Clubhouse floor came
to life with a terrific tap trio: Jeann Svarvar, Rosa
Gascoigne and Olga Marquette. They brought
back old memories to those attending by tapping
to In the Mood, Shim Sham, and finished with
New York, New York. Many thanks to these great
entertainers.
Thomas Catering supplied a wonderful (as
usual) Mexican fare of chicken enchiladas and all
the trimmings in anticipation of Cinco de Mayo.
We meet the second Saturday of each month
