| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2016 | 41 TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) TOPS Club, Inc. is the original weight-loss support and wellness education organization. Founded in 1948, TOPS is the only non-profit, non- commercial weight-loss organization of its kind. TOPS promotes successful weight management that combines support from others at weekly chapter meetings, healthy eating, regular exercise, and wellness information. We are excited to announce that TOPS members in the USA and Canada lost nearly 300 tons in 2015. Membership is affordable at just $32 per year plus $3 monthly chapter fees. We meet each Thursday at the South Clubhouse with weigh-ins from 9 to 9:50 am and meeting from 10 to 11 am. You may visit once Free of charge. Come and see how much fun we have getting healthy. KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) in good standing for the month are: Alma Bolla, Linda Calhoun, Audrey Carey, Lauren Cutner, Agna Harper, Donna Leone, Dorothy Monterville, Ann Oliver, Jan Sandberg, and Rosalee Strong. Great job! Thanks to our chapter members that attended the State Recognition Days in San Diego, CA where they were door hostesses. They all were inspirited by wonderful speakers and met TOPS members from all areas of California. Rosalee Strong was honored as a six year KOPS. July is a very exciting month for our TOPS chapter; on Monday the 4th watch for our decorated TOPS golf cart in the "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave" Sun Lakes' Parade. Celebration for our TOPS seventh anniversary will take place at the South Clubhouse on July 7 with success stories and fun. Come and join us! Then off to Orlando, Florida for TOPS Area Captain, Rosalee Strong to attend the TOPS International Recognition Days from July 13 to 16.
