As members of the Sun Lakes Men's Golf Club and this wonderful
community in which we live, we really don't have to go far to be
entertained for the entire summer! On Aug. 4 the Men's Club will
have our Tournament Planning meeting in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room at 8 am. This is the date we have set aside to
plan all of the Tournaments and extra-curricular events that involves
the Men's Golf Club for 2017. If you have an idea for an event or
tournament please plan to attend and share your ideas; believe me,
you'll be most welcomed!
During August we have two golf events. On Wed., Aug. 3 we have
the "August Quarterly." Individual stroke play identified by your Aug.
1 low index. This will be a shotgun start beginning at 8 am. Lunch
and meeting will follow in the Main Ballroom. As a member of the
Sun Lakes Men's Golf Club you are encouraged to join us at this
meeting to express your likes, dislikes and any suggestions as to the
direction being taken by the board to provide all of us enjoyable golf
experience throughout the year.
Our second Tournament will be held on Sat., Aug. 20. The vent
will be a "Modified Stableford" format. Individual stroke play. This
will be a shotgun start starting at 8 am. In this event your are given
points for "Net Score." Pairings for this Tournament will be computer
generated. Look forward to seeing everyone during the month of
August.

Travelers Coed Golf
We are announcing our next trip to Laughlin, NV, Oct. 16, 17
and 18. We will be checking-in on Sunday afternoon at the Avi
Resort and Casino, playing golf at the Mojave Resort Golf Club
on Monday and Tuesday and returning home Tuesday afternoon.
SAVE THESE DATES and plan now to join us for another fun filled
trip! Look for the sign up sheets and additional trip details in the
Main Pro Shop.
