Pop Tennis
While the "Dog Days of Summer" have been upon us, it
has not been a deterrent for our loyal POP Tennis players
to enjoy their favorite sport! Our early summer hours
of play at 7 am have been a big incentive for players and
this time will continue as needed until fall temperatures
make the 8 am time more agreeable.
We will soon be holding clinics for interested players and hope
to see some of our new Sun Lakes residents come out and see what
a great sport this is! Please check out our bulletin board adjacent
to the courts for activities that may come up and not
posted in time for the magazine publication.
Scheduled days of play are Mon., Wed., Sat. at
10 am and Tues., Thurs., Fri. at 7 am and Tues.
and Thurs. evenings at 6 pm. Sunday play starts
at 7 am and is open play for all residents of Sun Lakes for all games!
Please – no perfume/cologne to help our players with allergies.

Do you enjoy playing the billiard game of 8 Ball? If you do, come
join us. All residents are welcome to practice with us Mondays
through Saturdays. We normally 'pea' for partners at noon, then play
to 2 pm or so.
There is no cost to join our group. However, if you elect to join a
team, there is a $15 competition fee per three month season. Eight
teams compete every Thursday; four at 9 am and the other four at
1 pm in our Main Clubhouse Billiards Room. For a fun afternoon of
fierce-but-friendly competition, come watch us play.
