Tennis Friends
So, you want to be an Oldlympian?
Oldlympian? Oldlympian? Did you say Oldlympian?
Each year, starting Sept. 17 and finishing with awards and banquet
Oct. 4, Valley Wide Recreation uses all their facilities to put on these
Senior games called The Oldlympics.
Our tennis folks have been well represented and meet up with our
other Four Seasons competitors for the celebration of awards. So,
when you sign up, no matter what event, sign up for the 3:30 pm Oct.
4 banquets also.
Bingo, Pinochle, Chair Volleyball, Fun-Tathlon, Track, and Tennis;
if you play it Oldlympics has an event for it.
Tune up your tennis game, sign up to play Oct. 1 for doubles and
Oct. 2 for Mixed Doubles. Divisions will be formed to equalize talent
and there is a goal of providing no less than two sets, no more than
three sets. Questions? Ask Chuck Sims, Tracy Trousset, or any other
of our tennis players.
