| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | September 2016 | 29 Karaoke & Dance Party Karaoke in September will be on Sun., Sept. 11, at 2 pm in the Karaoke Lounge (better known as the Ballroom). I would like to extend a special invitation to all of you closet singers out there. You know who you are. You're the ones driving down the road with the music blasting from the radio, and singing "We will, we will rock you" at the top of your lungs. And when you pull up to a red light, you sneak a look to the driver on your left to see if he's looking, and when he's not, you rock out even louder. With a glance to the right, you see the lady next to you rocking out also. Way Cool! She glances your way and you both realize that you're rocking out to the same song, you flash each other the peace sign and sing harmony. You people that only sing in the shower, you know that you're dying to come to karaoke and show us your chops. You know that you are the next Four Seasons Idol. If it makes you feel more comfortable, bring your shower head with you. And if that's not enough, we'll all throw a glass of water on you while you're singing, just because we want you to feel at home. C'mon man, you know you want to… see you there. Directed by Emilie Ortega, this dinner theatre will also feature dinner music by the Vintage Voices. Tickets go on sale Sept. 1 from 10 am till 12 pm in the Lodge Multipurpose Room. If we don't sell out, you may buy tickets at the Lodge desk after this time. We are limited to 140 seats, so get your tickets now! This is a very funny mystery play full of crazy antics, murder, and prizes for guessing "whodunit." We guarantee an enjoyable evening. The menu includes: Meat lasagna or fettuccini alfredo with salad, garlic bread and dessert, plus coffee or tea. BYOR if you like. Doors open at 5 pm, dinner at 5:30 pm, show at 7 pm. The cast includes: Jim and Betty Crase, Mike McLaughlin, Linda Hendrickson, Quinn and Candy Hawley, Sandy Tiffin, Noreen Scott, Chuck Sims, Chris Pounders, Dick English, Linda Gentile, Dona Wurtzel, and Carlos VonFrankenburg. As you can see, we have two new additions to our cast - Sandy Tiffin and Mike McLaughlin. Come out and support these new members. A special treat will be dinner music by the Vintage Voices who are excited to present their program to you as well. So, until opening night, this is Emilie Ortega saying, "See you around the campus."
