WALNUT
ROAST
(Vegetarian)

Mix all ingredients together well, place in greased
baking dish, and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. to
1 hour. Serve as you would meat loaf. Makes great
sandwiches with the leftovers.
1 cup chopped nuts – pecans, walnuts, or both
2 cups bread crumbs or oats
2 cups celery, chopped fine
1 medium onion, chopped fine
¼ cup melted butter or olive oil
2 eggs
¾ cup milk
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. soy sauce or Worcestershire
½ tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. oregano
