Some of the things that will be provided to
you free of charge include body fat analysis,
hearing test, eye test, pulse oximetry and neck
massage and more.
Local doctors offices and the California
Telephone Access Program will be represented
and pre-arrangement packets will be available.
Learn about other resources and benefits
that are available to you and don't forget about
volunteering.
Hemet Valley Medical Center will be
providing carotid testing for residents who
sign up prior to the day of the event. Sign
up sheets are at the front desk (limited to
40 people). They will also be providing
cholesterol screenings, blood pressure checks,
as well as blood sugar checks.
There will also be free give-aways. Come
join us! Barbecue lunch is limited. First
come, first served.
Come meet representatives from some of
the skilled nursing facilities, Amerivets Office
on Aging, and the CARE Team plus more.

Come join the Emergency Prep Committee at the Health and Safety Fair on Sept.
9, 2016. We are excited about the opportunity to join with the Health Fair. It is
important to not only plan for our future health and well-being, and also, our
Safety in times of crisis. The crisis may be earthquake, but can be many other
events. The best thing to do is to be ready for anything. There will be information
on Emergency Preparedness, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
training, and how it impacts our community, and the Great California Shakeout.
