Mystery Theater continues to meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 1 pm on the stage side of the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Please mark your calendar to join us and learn more about a wonderful group of theater lovers who are planning the next musical That's Entertainment production which is to be presented in the spring of 2017. Should you like to sing, develop a skit, dance (alone or with a group) or offer your talent for a non-performing role, we'd love to have your participation. The cast (Lynne Lewis, Ginger Burris, Rose Hermanson, Ruth Bray, Pat Naylor and Barbara Searcy) led by director Sallie Smelker really brought this beautiful play by Robert Harling to life in a funny, smart and heartfelt way. We thank everyone who helped backstage, in the house each night, and selling tickets. And we especially thank all of you who came to experience the show. Our next Reader's Theatre performance will be The Maltese Falcon, directed by Sue Dunn. Auditions are Nov. 1 and 3 from 9 to 11 am in the Bus Room with roles for five men and two women. Please contact Sue at 769-7552 for specific information regarding available characters. There will be approximately six rehearsals with two performances on Nov. 19 at 1 pm (coffee and cookies) and 4 pm (wine and cheese). Seats are $8 for either performance and must be reserved and paid for in advance by calling Harriet Briant at 769- 0383. We are finishing up our plans for the Holiday Party on Dec. 7. Tin Man's Heart will entertain us after a delicious meal. It's hard to believe this year is almost complete and we are already thinking about 2017!
