| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | December 2016 | 11 Facilities Committee Home value is important to us all. The Facilities Committee agrees that maintaining an attractive appearance of our community is desirable to all, especially when prospective owners are concerned. This helps keep our home value optimum. The first item on our twice monthly meeting agenda, therefore, is homeowner input. We value your input. If you have some concern, you are invited so send us your comments and/or to attend our meetings to let us know what it is. One of the principles we follow is frugality. We spend your money, with the Board's approval, to keep our community pristine and attractive, but always try to keep expenses to a minimum. 54" tables, each with 4 chairs are being purchased for the covered area in front of the pool. Roller shade curtains for the west side of the BBQ picnic tables are being ordered. We have seen the need to upgrade the sound system in the Ballroom. Currently it is out of date, and not doing the job. Storage of necessary equipment to operate the Lodge, restaurant, and other facilities is inadequate. We are researching the possibility of building a new storage building to alleviate this problem. Where it will be, the size, will probably be deferred to next year. Lighting our bocce and shuffle board courts is also being considered for the future. We continue to schedule regular maintenance, conversion to LED lights at the Lodge, street slurrying, fence repair, etc., to keep our community attractive and safe. Community Awareness Committee The CAC would like to thank you for supporting your community! We would like to invite you to participate in our committee! Have an issue on your mind? Or a question? We meet on the first Monday of most months in the Board Room at 3 pm. If you would like to agendize a topic, please call me at (951) 760-2200. We welcome new members! 2017 promises to be busy! Measure U passed overwhelmingly Nov. 8, so please watch for an informational meeting at the Lodge in February or March. We would also like to introduce you to our Supervisor, Chuck Washington, in early spring. Have a blessed holiday! ~ Robin Lowe
