This is the last Big Band Dance for 2016, and Eli will provide the music. We will gather in the Main
Clubhouse Ballroom Wed., Dec. 14 at 5:30 pm. $10 for members, and $15 for guests. There will be a
new menu for hors d'oeuvres available, and of course your choice of beverages to order. Sign-ups will
take place Wed., Dec. 7 from 1 to 2 pm in the Multipurpose Room. Drop off box is 1315 Cypress Point
Drive, or call Carol at 845-5962. The 2017 Big Band Dance Board will be presented at the December
dance. Membership dues are $25 pp per year and are due Jan. 26. Make checks payable to BBDC. You
may bring them to the dance, or 1315 Cypress Point Drive any time in January.

80s Plus Club
For our October gathering, we were very fortunate to have the
incredible trio of Audacity perform for us. This trio includes the
fabulous talents of Nancy Ford, Sheila James and Gina Harlan. The
responses were overwhelming. Their harmonies and showmanship
were along the lines of the Andrews Sisters and their songs included
Under the Apple Tree, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Jump That Jive Jack,
Tumbling Tumbleweeds, along with many others. If you closed your
eyes you were thrown back in time to entertaining the troops with
Bob Hope. The Andrews Sisters could only wish they were as good
as these wonderful ladies! Our meal was one of our free meals of
Kentucky Fried Chicken, including all the fixings.
December is our holiday catered dinner so reservations will
be required. Please let Sandee know by Nov. 30 at 797-3201. Her
address is 1469 Littler, off of Allin.
January will also be a catered meal of chicken marsala from
Thomas Catering. So again, get your reservations in to Sandee by the
end of December.
We meet the second Saturday of the month at 3 pm at the South
Clubhouse. Spouses and caregivers are welcome to attend as well.
