| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2016 | 45 Ladies Exec. Golf Welcome to Lady Executive Golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9-hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18-hole tournaments and "away games" a few times during the year. During the winter (October through June) we meet at 8:30 am with a tee time of 9 am the third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch ($10) at the South Clubhouse. Guests are welcome! Lady Niners The Lady Niners are looking forward to our annual Christmas Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 9 at 11 am in the Ballroom - stage side. It is always a wonderful social get-together for both members of the Lady Niners and for "Associates." We will also see our officers for 2017 installed. The "Cup Champion" and the "Club Champion" awards will be presented at this luncheon. It is a fitting culmination to a fantastic golfing year for those winners. The Lady Niners have their General Meeting on the first Thursday of the month at 10:30 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. If you have been thinking about joining a golfing group at Sun Lakes, we play 9 holes of golf each Thursday. You receive a GHIN handicap card and you meet many new friends while having some fun golf outings. If you are interested in finding out more about the "Niners," contact Janet Catalano at 769-9409. This is a fun group of men, women, couples and singles. We play every Saturday morning on the Executive Course. Players meet at the North Clubhouse at 8:30 for a 9 am tee off. (July 1-Oct. 1, 8 am check-in 8:30 tee off.) We have tournaments for everyone, plus closest to the pin for men and women. Our tournaments are held every second Saturday with a variety of formats. Trophies at year-end to club champions with the best gross score. Quarterly dinners in the Sandwedge and our Annual meeting in November. New member forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual membership is $15. The emphasis of this club is golf, and having fun doing it! All residents and guests may play with the group three times without joining. Come join us.
