| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2016 | 49 Sun Lakers at Canyon Lanes Now that the scary time is over, and I am not talking about Halloween I am talking about the election. I don't know who won because I have to do this report by the 6th of the month. I guess half of the people are happy and half are not. Our bowling is far from over. There have been some moves in the leader column. We have new leaders as of this week. In first place by one half game is the team "Waters World," (Tom Keheley, Dolores Arter, John Noonan, and Rick Waters.) Just one half game back is "3 Feathers and a Tickle" (Fred Toro, Beverly Casaga, Bill Casaga and Richard Cook.) In third place is "Alley Oops" (Terry Brown, Richard Ming, Howard Oques, and Ron Krogh.) The season high scores for the men are: Andy Toro with High Scratch Series of 760 and Ken Smelker with High Scratch Game of 268. For the women, Barbara Semic with a High Scratch Series of 548 and Patti Brickner with a High Scratch Game of 197. Last month I said there must be something in a name. I thought the name might have something to do with winning or losing. I can say now that the name really doesn't matter. Look at "Waters World" now in first. Then we have "Chasing Ten" who was in last place. This team is moving up in the standings. As for "Lightning Strikes," we will keep our name; lightning can strike more than once in the same place. Joke: Why are ghosts such bad liars? Because you can see right through them. Sun Lakers Monday at Moreno Valley Bowl We are eight weeks into our winter season and team 8, "Optimists" with Caroline Gagnon, Bob McEwen, Jerry Campbell and Leo Gagnon are on top with 24 win points and 8 loss points.
