FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2017 39 Come join the Crafty Cardmakers on Jan. 13! We will begin our new year making some beautiful all occasion cards. We meet the second Friday of every month in the Craft Room at 1 pm. Materials will be provided to make three cards, the cost is $6. You only need to bring scissors and glue. We have lots of fun and we have new people every month. Everyone is welcome — beginners, intermediates and advanced card makers. We ask that you reserve your spot so we will have enough kits for everyone. Please R.S.V.P. by Jan. 9 by phone or email to Maryalice Chorba, at (951) 849-6336, or chorbaparadise@yahoo.com. ~ Maryalice Chorba Crafty Cardmakers December ceramics class continued to be very busy with participants rushing to complete that unique piece for a gift or for a very special decoration to add to their holiday tradition. Chips and dip platters were popular this year, designed with various techniques, and also the continued favorite "garden worms." Christmas trees of all sizes and of a course a plate for Santa's cookies were among the various holiday décor. Our participation on Wednesdays continues to grow and we always have a full house. Our Saturday participation is sporadic so we will be alternating Saturday class. Please see the class schedule posted in Craft room for dates. We will continue to use Saturday for scheduled class projects, and also schedule dates to still allow opportunities for residents to paint their own pieces on Saturdays. If you are looking for a new hobby, want to create your own design, or participate in a class project to create pieces for yourself, friends and family, come to the ceramics class. Drop by the Craft room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects. Come and join in the fun; we meet on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm in the Lodge Craft Room and post a monthly schedule in the class room for your reference. Alternating Saturdays effective January 2017: 9 am to 1 pm (please see class schedule for dates). A certified instructor and/or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs. Participation is at your own pace and frequency. See you there.
