Team Sunshine Presents | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | January 2017 | 25 Vintage Voices The Vintage Voices perform different programs at least twice a year for different occasions. The one that they all agree is the most fun, but also the most work, is the yearly Christmas program. At least half of the singers have performed for the last eleven Christmas programs, as well as Ross Brunetto who plays and arranges the music for them. This year, the Vintage Voices dedicated several hours of their time weekly to rehearse, and at the end of the Christmas Program performance, they had invested about 40 hours of their time to provide the community with a free Christmas Program. This significant donation of personal time truly demonstrates the true spirit of Christmas and enables the whole Four Seasons community to share in that joyful spirit. Hal Townend has been the Christmas MC for the last 7 years and always enjoys helping with the Vintage Voices Programs. The members of the Vintage Voices sometimes go unnoticed and do not expect anything in return. They do this because they are so dedicated and determined to learn their songs and present their listeners with a musical message. We would like to say thank you to the Vintage Voices for sharing themselves and their love of music with our community. We look forward to hearing them whenever they perform. In recognition of our singers, listed in the picture starting from back row on the right are singers Leola Kindt, Quinn Hawley, Rik Dennis, John Bunge, Robert Poe, Bob States, Betty Crase, Sharon Sims, Linda Negrete, and Candace Hawley. Noreen Scott is absent. Playing Mrs. Elf this year is Cathy Brunetto. The front row consists of Ross Brunetto (accompanist), Hal Townend (narrator), and Don Ortega (sound effects). Their message is simple—They wish everyone in Four Seasons a Happy New Year and look forward to performing in May for the Memorial Program. Many thanks Vintage Voices!
