FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2017 45 We meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the RCN Great Room; thus, our February meeting will be Feb. 21. Visitors are always welcome. We invite all photographers, regardless of skill level, to join us for our regular meetings, workshops, speakers, field trips, and in-house demos. For the January meeting, the theme was "wind." We decided to put the photographer's imagination at play to see what kind of pictures would be shown. As could be expected, many creative ideas were presented. We then discussed and conducted a constructive critique. We learned a lot about various techniques, software, and hardware to enhance our work. For the coming year, we'll be planning in-house demonstrations of photo equipment and use of various types of photography software, workshops… both in-house and in the field, guest speakers, and much more. We hope to see you soon at one of our meetings. ~ Lyle Cameron Camera Club Kate Clifford Larson's biography Rosemary, The Hidden Kennedy Daughter is our selection for the February 14th meeting at 9:30. An October 2015 book review in The New York Times called it "a biography that chronicles her life with fresh details… By making Rosemary the central character, (Larson) has produced a valuable account of a mental health tragedy, and an influential family's belated efforts to make amends." If this book interests you, please join us whether you have read it or not. Newcomers are always welcome.
