The Four Seasons at Beaumont Rainbow Group meets in alternate months for casual dinners. This will allow our LGBT neighbors and friends to socialize, update each other on what we have been up to and to discuss social issues. We don't have a dinner planned for February. When scheduled, we gather at Smitty's, order whatever dinner items you wish, and have dinner either on the patio, weather permitting, or in an adjacent location. Should you wish to enjoy your own beverages, please feel free to bring whatever you desire. If you have any suggestions or questions, please call/ email Dale at (951) 797-0364 or dale.beckes@ gmail.com. ~ Dale Beckes 36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2017 Rainbow Group Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members. Yes, it's pretty daunting, but we are excited for our February meeting of the Taste d' Vine Wine Club. This month we are featuring "Wines in the Hood – Part 4" bringing you some local favorites from the neighborhood. We will showcase some "really good wine" at a "really good price!" Please join us at our February meeting on the third Thursday of the month, Feb. 16 at 6 pm in the Ballroom. Please bring an appetizer such as bread or crackers and cheese, your own favorite bottle of wine if you wish, and a glass or two for tasting and sharing. Members $5, guests $10. ~ Gracy Luna Taste d'Vine Can you believe we are already in the month of February? I hope your holidays were enjoyable and the New Year brings health and happiness. As promised, here is an update on our Christmas Gala held on Dec. 10. As you have no doubt heard by now, it was fantastic! As usual, it was a sold out event. With help from the Christmas Committee, the AACC membership, special help from our families and friends, help from Four Seasons own Cindy Graves and Eric Zarr, and good guy Al Gray, the Ballroom was transformed into an elegant five-star restaurant. It featured the ambiance of a glamorous ballroom, scrumptious food, service befitting any VIP, and the finishing touch, superb entertainment! Our entertainers, Rememberance, were exceptional. They had everyone singing and dancing. Their songs and voices took us back to the Motown era. You would have thought you were being entertained by one of the great groups of that era. They dazzled us with their voices, costumes, and showmanship. Their music had everyone up and dancing. If you missed our gala you really missed a great time. When it was time to end, no one wanted to go home. Everyone left with a smile and saying they had the best time ever. They also wanted too know if we could have Rememberance back in 2017 for all of our Four Seasons Neighbors to enjoy. Let me know if you are interested and I will see what we can do. AACC chose two local families to support this Christmas. Our members and friends gave generously. We were able to give our families, toys, clothes and gift cards. The families were most appreciative. They said we provided a Christmas that they would not have had, and that they will always be grateful to us. Well done Christmas Committee, volunteers and friends! We would like to wish a happy birthday to our January and February birthdays, Louvenia Ortega, Gloria Natham, and Herman Thomas. Please wish them happy birthday when you see them. We invite you to join us and become a part of a group that want to make a difference in our community. We meet the first Monday of the month in the Lodge Card Room at 6 pm.
