The New Year is off to a good start with both the New Years Eve event and the NFL Playoff party all a rousing success. There's much more coming up in the months to come. FEB. 18: MARDI GRAS DINNER DANCE: We have wonderful plans in the making for a fun night in February. The theme of this event is Mardi Gras; so feel free to express yourself with masquerade attire even though this is not a requirement for having a fun time. We will have a Louisiana style dinner, a special cocktail, music, Mardi Gras beads (no flashing required!) and prizes for the best costume. The event will be held in the South Clubhouse at a cost of $20 pp. BYOB and glasses. Doors open at 5:30 pm with dinner being served at 6 pm. There will be plenty of fun for our single members as well as our couples. Michele Walter (845-2002) is the contact person for this event. Drop off your checks at 4713 Skyview Circle. If you plan to sit with a group, submit your checks together. MARCH 18: ST PATRICK'S DINNER DANCE: Get your green on at our St. Paddy's day party. This event will be held at the South Club House. Dinner and "jigging" (aka dancing) for one and all. Doors open at 5:30 with dinner at 6 pm. Cost is $20 pp. BYOB (green beer anyone?) and glasses. Gail Matejka (845-5369) is the contact person for this event. Checks can be dropped off at 4943 Oakhurst Ave. APRIL 9: WINE TASTING: Looking for something fun to do on a Sunday afternoon? There will be delicious wines, both reds and whites, to sample at our wine tasting. Plates of cheeses, crackers and fruits will be served at your table. This event will be held at the North Club House from 2 to 6 pm. Michele Walter (845-2002) and Suzie Robitzer (845-0048) are our contact persons for this event. Checks can be dropped off at 4713 Skyview Circle or 1762 Fairway Oaks. Just a reminder: You must be a member of YAH to participate in our events. We do our best to accommodate every member, but we are limited by the size of our clubhouses as to how many people can attend. So get your checks in early so you won't miss out on the fun. And, if you wish to attend as a group, submit your checks together. Refunds can only be accommodated if there is a wait list. Are you looking for a fun challenge to take on?
