Bocce
Bocce Club sign-ups will be Sun., March 5, in the Ballroom
and will begin promptly at 2 pm. First game will be March 19.
As requested by our players, we are moving Bocce from Fall 105
degree hot weather, to a more mild temperature — not to mention
it is also football season which conflicts with our games. We hope
to generate more players this year and will also maintain the four
person tournament style full court competition games. This could
be an eight or nine week schedule skipping Easter and Mother's
Day. Please consider there could also be a rain out or two but we
plan to finish the first week of June. Hope this helps you to plan
other activities such as cruises and air line flights. Meanwhile,
please tell your friends and neighbors just in case they don't read
the Bocce articles. To make it simple just read the bottom line.
BOCCE SIGN-UPS ARE MARCH 5
AT 2 PM IN THE BALLROOM.

Great news for shuffleboard players. We are moving the club
from very hot weather to a more mild-temperature season.
Following the Bocce sign-ups we will have the Shuffleboard
sign-ups and you will know what time spot you will be
reserving before you leave. So please mark your calendars for
Shuffleboard sign-ups on Sun., March 5, about 3:30 pm when
Bocce sign-ups are complete. We plan to start playing March 9
and will last eight weeks plus a tournament game. We will need
to fill each league and will not play a partial league this year.
Those that do not get on a schedule, we will have a sub-list and
will also put you on standby list if players decide not to play or
drop out. Hope to see more players this year so please tell your
friends and neighbors and bring them with you.
