| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2017 | 35 Tennis Friends Chuck Sims was honored and thanked by his loyal Wednesday night drill students over the holidays. He has faithfully been at the courts Wednesday evenings by 6:15 pm or so to offer private lessons til 6:59 pm; followed by an hour of helpful and fun drills. Round robin play ensues and we have been known to stay on the courts on balmy nights until the Lodge and courts close. There are never too many participants and folks new to tennis are welcome to come and see if this is the sport for them! There are always extra racquets! By the way, ice cream is Chuck's favorite food and he was given his own personal ice cream cake at the party. Fred and Cherrie Rau are relatively new to the Healthy Living Team. HEALTHY LIVING "Walk-Fit" Exercise Club Bring a friend and join us for a brisk walk in the comfort of the Lodge Ballroom. The "Walk Fit" Exercise Club offers you three hours a week of easy-to-follow, low impact aerobic activity. You can tailor the class to your own needs and schedule. The full one hour class (three times a week) is a four mile walk, but you can join us for as much as will work for you. You can leave early or arrive later to shorten your walk. If you can only be there one or two days a week, that's okay too. New members are always welcome — both men and women. We meet Mon., Wed. and Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in the Lodge Ballroom (for the full hour). We are free. For more information contact Karen Tuvim (951) 599-4236 or Kay Masonbrink (951) 223-3047. Playing tennis in the rain are: Judy Bailey, Sharon Uhlken, Trish Egan, Sandy St. John, and Dennis Uhlken Sometimes we hear it is too hot to play tennis. Sometimes we hear it is too cold to play tennis. But these folks love the game so much, they play in the heat, cold and RAIN! Most days are very playable, so come join us! All levels welcome.
