A Note From Your Activities Director
By Louise Ceccarelli
Happy spring everyone! Isn't it wonderful to see so much green in this valley? I think putting up
with the huge puddles around Hemet has been worth the beauty the water brings.
There have been some questions recently about the cost of the newsletter (The Herald) to the HOA,
and if we could save money by having an online version. The truth of the matter is that we pay nothing for The Herald, including postage.
It is fully funded by advertising which is handled by our publisher, Courtney Taylor, and her team at Image Up Advertising & Design.
Image Up also posts an online version of the Herald at http://imageup.uberflip.com/h. I hope you are enjoying your Herald and the
efforts your fellow residents put into having interesting articles
to help you stay informed about
your community. If ever you are
unsure about something in the
Herald, please email me at Louise.
Ceccarelli@fsresidential.com or
give me a call. I will be happy to
help you. If I don't know the answer,
I will find it for you.
I am excited to present the 2017
line up for Music on the Plaza
(see the poster inset right). Jazz,
blues, Motown, rock n' roll, oldies,
country… it all starts at 5 pm with
the Greg Douglass Band on April 18.
Wristbands will be available for sale
March 28. Each new event will be for
sale the day after each performance.
More information will be on the
electronic board and on fliers in the
lobby.
The first bus excursion for 2017
was to the Nixon Library in Yorba
Linda on Feb. 24. We had a good
group who enjoyed lunch at Mimi's
and then a guided tour of the library,
with much history to hear and view.
Our next trip is on March 18 to the
McCallum Theater in Palm Desert
to see the musical Chicago. In June,
there will be a trip to the Lavender
Festival at Highland Springs Resort in
Cherry Valley. We are putting together
a list of events that you won't want to
miss so watch for more information in
the Herald and by email blast.
See you around the Lodge.
