We learned so much at our August meeting with some of our members sharing personal stories about their need to adjust their diets for health reasons. We were able to taste some food especially prepared for us and also shared some terrific recipes. Yes, we are a little bit NUTS! Especially for the Sept. 28, meeting at 11 am the South Clubhouse, when our guest, from Hadley Fruit Orchard in Cabazon will provide a fun-filled presentation on "Sometimes I Think We're All Nuts." You don't need reservations, but if you have and questions, call Charlene Fink, Membership Chair, at 769-4454 for more information. Annette Harvey has an exciting adventure for the "Happy Cookers." Reserve your seat for a bus trip to "Cookin' on Campus" on Wed., Nov. 7, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. We'll have lunch at Cal Poly Pomona's Culinary School Restaurant, a guided tour of the Kellogg House, and then we will visit the school's state-of-the art Equestrian Center, where Mr. Kellogg raised his famous Arabian horses, for only $69 pp. Please contact Annette at 769-7056 to make your reservation.
