Activities Director Corner This month has a lot of good announcement coverage throughout the magazine, so I don't want to waste your time by repeating it. Please note the "Upcoming Events" section below. It is going to be a regular feature to help with your social planning for the month. I know that this issue is going to be full of transition for all of us, especially the Clubs, Groups and Classes that have been used to putting fl yer ads into the newsletter to make their meetings and events known. Thank you for your patience while we get this new ball rolling. Don't forget things like Night at the Lodge at 5 pm on Fri., Sept. 14, the new Interest Groups trying to get started, COMMUNITY NEWS By Cindy Graves like pickle ball and Spades and the Craft Boutique planning meeting at 10:30 am on Sept. 5. As usual if you think of a good activity idea that you'd like to see at the Lodge, give me a call at the offi ce and we'll see what we can do to make your idea a reality. I look forward to seeing you at all the great events in September and October, including the BOD meetings on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 1 pm It's always nice to see your community government at work and get a real feel for some of the issues that are being worked on by your faithful Board of Directors and committed Committee members. Maybe you'll see how valuable they are and want to get involved too? We'd love to have you!
