4 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2017 | GM Report Member Questions from previous meeting: Q: A member had a statement about the speeding and non-stopping of vehicles at stop signs within the community. The member recommended that "Bott's Dots" be added to every stop sign in Sun Lakes. A: The request was forwarded to the Safety Advisory Committee to evaluate. That committee will forward their comments/ recommendations to the Master Board for consideration. Q: Two questions: a. The member asked if the evaluation has been done for the speed trap trailer and the results of the analysis. A: Secretary Moyer stated that the analysis has been delayed due to her recent surgery. She stated she will be meeting with 2nd Vice President Searcy to review the analysis and report at the February meeting. b. The member then asked if the evaluation has been done for lighting at the Master Clubhouse Parking Lot. A: The analysis of the lighting was done with input from Board Members, Maintenance & Landscaping Advisory Committee, members and staff. The recommendation was made for the type of lighting, and this item is on tonight's agenda for approval. January Open Session Board Action Items • The Board appointed George John as District 4 Delegate, and John Hill as District 4 Alternate Delegate. • The Board appointed Jerry Munnelly and Dan Funderbunk to the Safety & Security Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed Judy Garthwaite, Janet Contreras and Connie Cutner to the Lifestyles Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed LaNelle Neet, Josephine Frybarger, Marsha Midgett and Patti Brickner to the Recreation Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed Neil Berry and Marcy Tierney to the Maint. & Landscaping Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed Cathy Leogrande to the Marketing Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed Mike Dowd to the Golf Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed Anne Magnolia, Frank Magnolia and Toni Suydam to the Bingo Advisory Committee. • The Board appointed Jack Barret, William McDade, Chuck Massey, Rich Messick and Larry Smiley to the Master Architectural Committee. • The Board appointed Sheila Cannon, Janet Contreras, Janell Karabatsos and Barbara Lindlan to the Library Advisory Committee. • The Board accepted the resignation of Al Jaszcar, Jim Bailey and Dick Keating from the Finance Advisory Committee. • The Board received the December 2016 Financial Report from the Treasurer. • The Board approved the Men's Golf Club Request for Summer Interplay. • The Board approved the Sun Lakes 8-Ball Club Request to review solutions and costs for window treatments and/or Blinds. • The Board approved the Rest. & Lounge Recommendation to a restaurant discount coupon for the Charity Week Event. • The Board approved the Banning Chamber of Commerce Request for hosting their Spring Golf Tournament. • The Board approved the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital Request for donation. • The Board approved the MAC's recommendation of the Paint Color Pallet. • The Board approved the MAC's recommendation to revise the Architectural Standards and Guidelines (Article XI, Section V, #5.5 Inspections & #5.3 Completion. • The Board approved the MAC's recommendation to revise the Architectural Standards and Guidelines (Article XI, Section VI, and #7.20 Landscape. • The Board approved the 2017 Recreation Calendar of Events. • The Board approved the 2017 Election Calendar. • The Board approved the proposal from the "Inspectors of Election" to perform the 2017 Election services. • The Board approved the proposal from "Club Cart" to replace the Golf Operations 10 Golf Carts. • The Board approved the proposal from "Center Line Design Inc." to be the consultant for Turf Reduction Irrigation. • The Board approved the proposal from American Eagle to remodel the kitchen and paint the South Clubhouse.
