| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2017 | 51 Ladies Exec. Golf Welcome to Lady Executive Golfers (LEGS)! We are a 9-hole club on the Executive Course. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18-hole tournaments and "away games" a few times during the year. During the winter (October through June) we meet at 8:30 am with a tee time of 9 am the third Tuesday of each month is our monthly meeting and lunch ($10) at the South Clubhouse. Guests are welcome! We emphasize fun and socializing while striving to improve our game and become more familiar with the Rules of Golf. Join us! Women's Golf We play a variety of weekly golf games and scheduled tournaments on our Championship Course on Thursdays and on the first Saturday of each month. The first Thursday of each month is a Scramble or a Shamble, followed by our General Meeting and luncheon. In addition to our regular weekly games, we have nine major tournaments scheduled this year, including our Member/Guest Invitational Tournament and the Extravaganza, which is co-ed and played with members of the Sun Lakes Men's Golf Club. Tournaments are flighted. Our $65 annual membership fee includes a WSCGA-sanctioned handicap (Women's Southern California Golf Association). To obtain the handicap, you will need to play five 18-hole rounds on the Championship course. If you are looking for an enjoyable challenge and the camaraderie of our many golf sisters, please join us. Applications are available in the Main Pro Shop and on our Sun Lakes website. Lady Niners We have reached the comfortable time of the year. Every day we just want to be outside and enjoy the luxury of our tremendous daytime weather with the very comfortable evenings. Lady Niner golfers will enjoy the beautiful championship course on which we play those nine holes of golf. As usual we will have our monthly meeting in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 10:30 am, May 4. Then we'll head out to play golf in our shotgun scramble, which is always fun. Cup day will be on May 11. We will again tee it up on the 18th but on May 25. We are heading to the Executive Course at 3 pm for a "pairs alternate shot" game with a social to follow in the North Clubhouse. We maintain a GHIN handicap, play nine holes of golf and enjoy the time with friends.
