FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2017 51 Dominoes In March, a vicious battle developed between Jesse Dimmer and Vernon Bell for the domino championship. They were competing hard to be the top dog. The lead went back and forth between them. One would win a game and then the other would win a game. Sometimes they tied in wins. But in the end, Jesse won the domino championship for the month of March with 25 wins. Vernon finished with 24 wins. John Bragg, missed playing dominoes one night during the month of March. He finished with 20 wins. Luck or fate was on Jesse and Vernon's side otherwise John might have won again. Congratulations to all the players and to Jesse the domino champion for March. Jesse has not been the domino champion for a while. He has been dormant and quiet like an old volcano on a remote island. Now he is loud, proud and erupting everywhere and letting everyone know that he is a force to be reckoned with. Dominoes are played every Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 9 pm in the Lodge Game Room. Gaines There were no runs in February, as a lot of our jeepers were enjoying other places for vacations! On each of our runs we have great leaders who are experienced with trails, going over those rocks, and up and down the hills, challenging us to use our 4-wheel drive. We had a co-trip with All Seasons RV with a jeep run in April to Calico. There was lot to go and see and a great jeep run too! If you are interested in learning more about our group, please join us for our meeting which is held the second Tuesday of the month at 7 pm at the Lodge. Our monthly trip is usually the third Thursday of every month. We meet in the north parking lot of the Lodge at 8 am. Anyone with a four-wheel-drive vehicle is welcome.
