Were you one of the fortunate ones to attend Dr. Anne Viricel's
presentation on the Arts in the IE? If you were you were on the
receiving end of a detailed and very witty presentation on places
to go and things to see within an hour's drive or so from SDV. We
found out that there are quite a few places nearby, many associated
with several colleges and universities, that showcase student and
up-and-coming artists. She also shamelessly plugged (her words,
not mine) the San Bernardino Symphony (she is their Executive
Director), which is offering up some wonderful performances this
spring.
I'm looking forward to the further lecture series Richard has
planned for us, giving us opportunities to broaden our horizons
while we enjoy a variety of topics, with snacks and beverages
included!
