The talented Renee Rojanaro will be out on the Veranda from 6 to 9 pm singing her heart out so come out and enjoy the evening with your friends and dance the night away. Wednesdays, June 7, July 5, Aug. 2, Sept. 6. MUSIC UNDER THE STARS Get ready for our exciting entertainment on the veranda this summer! Starting in June, the Recreation Department will provide three FREE evenings of wonderful music! We hope you join us as we dance the night away on the following Saturdays from 6 to 9 pm. June 17, Tony Lopez; July 29, Showdown; Aug. 19, American Made. Please remember it is first come first served seating and no outside alcohol can be consumed on the veranda. BEAT THE HEAT INDOOR MOVIE Wed., July 19, 6pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Join us for Sully a PG-13 rated drama/ biography that is 1hour and 36 minutes long. On Jan. 15, 2009, Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) tries to make an emergency landing in New York's Hudson River after US Airways Flight 1549 strikes a flock of geese. Miraculously, all of the 155 passengers and crew survive the harrowing ordeal, and Sullenberger becomes a national hero in the eyes of the public and the media. Despite the accolades, the famed pilot now faces an investigation that threatens to destroy his career and reputation. Popcorn will be on sale for $1 a bag and the bar will be available in the Ballroom! With all the great entertainment here at Sun Lakes, especially in the lounge on Friday and Saturday nights, we just wanted to throw out a friendly reminder. Please keep in mind that in accordance with the Rules and Regulations, all guests must be accompanied by a resident while participating in any Association community activity. Whether it is at the outdoor pool or in the Lounge, a guest must always have a resident with them. This ensures that the guest is in fact a guest of a resident and not just someone coming in for our great drink specials. Following this rule as well as all others is the key factor in having a pleasant experience here at Sun Lakes. We are very excited to announce that we will be booking "San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra" for 2017 & 2018. Dr. Anne L. Viricel, Executive Director, will be conducting a slide presentation for the upcoming shows on Tues., July 25 at 10:30 am on the lobby side of the Ballroom.
