The Summer Tournament is in full swing
with 66 teams competing. If you are wondering
who the Spring Tournament winners were, read
on! The B League winners were Mary Sue and
Dick Caron and Marilyn and Ray LeBlanc. A
League winners were Judy and John Davis, Lois
Preston and Sue Shubert. AA League winners
were Lynn and Ron Domme and their partners,
Sandy and Doug Swenson. Congratulations to
all the players that competed in the play-offs!
The Fourth of July is on a Tuesday this year
and your schedules reflect that by skipping that
whole week — no bocce! We pick up again the
week of July 10. The Summer Tournament
ends the week of Aug. 21, with play-offs the
following Mon. and Tues., Aug. 28 and 29.
If you're planning ahead, the Fall Tournament
begins the week of Sept. 11. Entries have to be
in by Fri., Sept. 1.

Friends of Bocce
Do you enjoy playing the billiard game of 8 Ball? If you do, come join us. All residents are welcome to
practice with us Mondays through Saturdays. We normally 'pea' for partners at noon, then play to 2 pm
or so.
There is no cost to join our group. However, if you elect to join a team, there is a $15 competition fee
per three month season. Eight teams compete every Thursday; four at 9 am and the other four at 1 pm in
our Main Clubhouse Billiards Room. For a fun afternoon of fierce-but-friendly competition, come watch
