4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2017 | | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2017 | 5 A Message From Your General Manager By Rick Ruth, CMCA As I write this, I just received an email from one of our resident realtors with an updated list of all of the homes listed, active, pending, and sold within the community. We've asked for this list to assist residents and folks that call randomly asking "What homes are for sale?" Today, there are 21! We get three to seven new homeowners a month! That's close to 100 in a year. That means a good portion of you are hopefully meeting these folks and welcoming them to the community. That also means we have potential volunteers that may be willing to help out on the committees, help out with event set-up and tear- down and wherever else they may be needed. By encouraging the new residents to help out, this creates an opportunity for them to volunteer and for those that have volunteered for many years (to help make this community what it is) to take a step back and enjoy the fruits of your labor and time. Another benefit of this is that new people sometimes bring fresh ideas that can be looked at, researched at the committee level and ultimately proposed to the Board of Directors. This facility cannot remain its best without volunteers. Volunteers have and continue to make a difference. Four Seasons is "The Crown Jewel" of the Valley. If you don't believe me, just visit one of the other communities, you'll see what I mean. Some of you may recall a month or so ago, there were individuals on the hillside adjacent to the west side of Four Seasons near the 16th Fairway that were firing weapons. Residents reported the shots fired and on several occasions, Hemet PD along with the Sheriff 's Dept. assisted in the search and subsequent arrest of one individual. The officers have asked residents to contact them immediately if they hear any sounds of shots fired. I'm mentioning this because I've heard some residents have heard the shots but failed to contact police. PLEASE CALL HEMET PD (911)! The landowners on the hillside are also assisting the police and with everyone's help, hopefully the shooting of firearms will cease. Reminder on pool guests: if you are bringing guests to the pool during the noon to 5 pm timeframe, you must register them. Registration takes place daily at the pool. Also, please take time to re-acquaint yourself with our Guest Rules. Several reminders about this very subject have been published in past articles. The Board hopes that all residents can enjoy the pool and asks that you treat your fellow residents with respect when your little ones are visiting. The noon to five time period is popular with residents too, so let's all work together to make that happen. One last reminder; diapers are prohibited in the pool. May you and your family have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July! We have a lot to be thankful for. Thank you to the people who place our flags. They're pretty cute!
