| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2017 | 7 6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2017 | A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli Welcome to Summer! If you like the hot weather, this is the place for you. Fortunately, there are many ways to stay cool here at Four Seasons — games, billiards, art classes. Or you can go to the pool for both exercise and recreation. Don't forget your sunscreen! Do you have your tickets for the annual July 4th Celebration which will be in full swing on the plaza — on the 4th of course? If you didn't get tickets in time, check for "resales" at the front desk. These tickets are from people who had to cancel for one reason or another and want to sell their tickets. The Music on the Plaza will be a real treat on July 25. The Zmed Brothers perform the music of the Everly Brothers. This is an acoustic duo you definitely want to see and hear. Tickets for this event are just $5 each and available right up until the program starts. Please note the change in time — starting a little later to help with the heat — from 6 to 8 pm. See the photos below of the last Music on the Plaza. Time to mark your calendars for the movie nights on the plaza Thursday nights (Aug. 3 - 24) at 8 pm with cartoons starting at 7:30 pm. So bring your chairs, your blanket or sweater, and your favorite drink (no glass please) and come enjoy a movie in the warm summer evening on our BIG screen on the plaza. Popcorn and candy will be provided by the Social Committee. A list of movies that will be showing will be on the information counter in the Lodge. As many of the club leaders know, June was the month that all clubs must submit a renewal form for club approval from the Board of Directors. As a Board approved club, all members are subject to the policies adopted in the Recreational Club Policy as well as the Rules and Regulations, also set forth by the Board of Directors. If you do not know what that entails, you may pick up a copy of the club policy at the front desk in the Lodge. The Rules and Regulations, Section 1.9, is a very important policy that applies to ALL residents, but it is especially pertinent to clubs and events. Please re-read this policy if you are unaware of what it state s— but the main gist is just this — "Live in Harmony." We strive very hard to create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all. If you ever have a question regarding any of these policies or rules, please feel free to come talk with me. Have a wonderful 4th of July and summer!
