yiddish culture club Come one and all to welcome the fall, say farewell to summer's pall, and enjoy a performance that's over-the-wall by Peter M. Small! We proudly present Historical Impressionist Peter M. Small in performance as MOSES. We have been privileged to see him previously in his roles as Golda Meir, Thomas Edison and Harry S. Truman and were spellbound by his realistic performances as well as the way in which he stayed in character when being questioned after the main performance. We are looking forward to this performance as Moses on Wed., Oct. 10, at 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Everyone is invited. For this performance there will be a charge of $3 pp for members and $5 pp for guests. As always refreshments will be served and there will be a 50/50. Peter Small believes that it is people who make history happen. While teaching history in the greater Los Angeles and Washington D.C., areas, he developed his program with costumed presentations for his classes, which became memorable and enjoyable lessons for his pupils. Peter now brings the same enthusiasm for history in his theatrical presentations. He has performed nationally for a wide range of audiences, including Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Richard Nixon and Herbert Hoover Presidential Libraries, Port Huron, Michigan's Thomas Edison Festival, and has appeared on the History Channel and KTTV in Los Angeles. He played the role as Thomas Edison at Knott's Berry Farm's Thomas Edison Workshop for ten years and is currently an adjunct instructor for the North Orange County Community College District's School of Continuing Education's Older Adult Program. We hope all residents who enjoy live performances will take advantage of this evening of historical entertainment and come to meet Peter in his role as Moses. Info., Diane 769-0130 or Marge 769-1747.
