COMMITTEE NEWS Architectural Review New and established homeowners, please remember any exterior modification, revision or improvement to your property may need approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Some examples are walkways, planters, patios, patio covers, satellite dishes, screen doors, front entry doors, plants in your front and rear yard, especially trees. When in doubt, speak to Frances Farrar at the HOA Lodge office. Applications are also available at the Lodge office. Applications must be submitted prior to noon Monday, preceding the meeting for consideration that week. The Architectural Review Committee is comprised of seven homeowners plus HOA Board Liaison Wayne Staples and Lisa Lynn of Euclid Management. The committee meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am. During the meetings each month we review applications from the homeowners for compliance and discuss possible remedies to issues that may not be covered presently in the rules or guidelines. If you are unable to locate these guidelines that were provided with your home purchase, you can request a copy at the Lodge office. Outside of the meetings, we visit the homes of applicants that have completed the work. This is to verify the modification is the same as the submitted approved plan. You are welcome to attend one of our meetings to see how the process works. ~ Ron Burke Safety & Facilities The National Night Out had a good turnout and replaced the monthly Neighborhood Watch meeting. The Emergency Preparedness meeting was held Sept. 27. You can get more information on the Beaumont website. You may notice that there will be some chairs and tables missing in the Card Room and Bistro. They are getting reupholstered and refinished and will be out for approximately a week. When walking the sidewalks inside our development please be on the lookout for raised concrete areas. If you locate any, for the safety of others, turn in a maintenance report to the Lodge. ~ Bill Guy FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2012 21
