26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | SEPTEMBER 2017 | TGIF The Happy Campers RV Club will depart Sept. 10 on a tour of Utah's National Parks. We'll travel first to the Casablanca Hotel Casino and RV Resort in Mesquite Nevada for a one night stopover in route to Springdale, Utah where we'll spend a few days at Zion Canyon Campground exploring Zion, the first of four National Parks that we will visit in Utah. Next we'll travel to Ruby's Inn and Campground at Bryce Canyon City where we'll take a closer look at Bryce Canyon National Park and its famous "Hoodoos" some of which eerily rise more than 10 stories from the depths of the Canyon. Our third and fourth National Parks stop will be Canyonlands and Arches National Parks both of which are near Moab, Utah where we'll set-up camp for five nights as we explore these two fine examples of America's natural wonders. On our return trip to Hemet we will stop for a couple days at McArthur's Temple View RV Resort in Saint George, Utah and then travel on to the Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada for one final stopover. This adventure promises to pack many lifetime memories into a relatively short15 day span. The Happy Campers third annual BBQ Pot Luck is set for Nov. 5 at the Lodge BBQ area from noon to 5 pm. We are planning adventures for 2018 with the first set for April 2018 when the club will return to Chula Vista Marina RV Resort for a week of fun by the beautiful San Diego bay. This waterfront location has long been a popular destination for the Happy Campers. If you have an interest in RV travel or glamping as many call it, we hope you will consider joining your enthusiastic neighbors as we share the fun at wonderful nearby locations and a few more distant scenic treasures. Membership in the Happy Campers RV Club is open to all Four Seasons residents. There are no dues to belong to the club however the club collects voluntary contributions of nonperishable food items for the Hemet Valley Food Pantry at our monthly meetings… which are held on the first Saturday each month at 9:30 am in the Multipurpose Room. We hope to see you at one of our meetings or on one of our adventures soon. Happy Campers RV Club Women In Touch (WIT) As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Ballroom at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. We are your support group and this is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons. We enjoyed our summer (simmer) break… did you? TGIF is back on Fri., Sept.1. Doors open at 5 pm and dinner is at 5:30 pm. We want to welcome all new residents. There will be a special table for new residents so we can all have the pleasure of meeting you. BYOR and utensils along with a dish to share with 8-10 neighbors. Bring a neighbor! There will be a raffle during the night to win some fun wines. Two tickets for $1.
