46 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2017 What an amazing trip we take each week as we "walk" where Jesus walked. This is a nine-week series, which will conclude at the end of January 2018. We are following Jesus' ministry from Capernaum, the Judean desert, Cana, Nain, Sea of Galilee, Mount of Beatitudes, Gadara, Bethsaida, Decapolis, Magdala, Caesarea-Philippi, Mount Tabor, Perea, Jericho, many times to Bethany and Jerusalem, and more. We have compared the Four Gospels' accounts and why they differ, understanding that every person witnessing an incident would record it differently, according to what they perceived and heard. What a blessing it has been to walk where our Savior walked! On Dec. 15 at 10:30 am we will have our last lesson of the year, followed by our yearly Christmas party and potluck in the first section of the Ballroom. Our potluck always features an abundance of wonderful food and lots of laughter and conversation among the amazing ladies who attend. We will recommence on Jan. 5, 2018. In February we will begin a new series on the more obscure (less read) books of the Bible, i.e., Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Micah, Naham, etc. It will be so interesting to study each of these minor prophets and their writings, and the discussions which ensue will hopefully be enlightening and beneficial to all that attend. If you are interested in joining a women's Bible study that consists of really wonderful and beautiful women that follow Christ and His teachings, look no further. "Believe…" Women's Bible Study is a non-denominational study which meets every Friday morning from 10:30 to 11:45 an in the Lodge Game Room. Come join us! We'll be looking for you. ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine "Believe…" Women's Bible Study Life Guide Bible Study The study series from I Peter, Discipleship Lessons From the Fisherman, will continue on Dec. 5. We will have our Christmas Potluck and Carol Sing on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 6 pm at the home of Jim and Bertsie Seim. Regular participants will be contacted regarding coordination of the food. We will break for the holidays for three weeks and resume regular meetings on Tuesday, Jan. 9 at 7 pm in the third section of the Lodge Ballroom unless otherwise announced. We invite interested residents to join us in learning from God's Word. 'Tis the season to be rejoice, because Christmas is a time of rejoicing and singing. Each year during the Christmas season we sing Joy to the World, I don't need to tell you that it's been a rough year, but now is the time to rebuild, and look forward to the new year, and we are praying that 2018 will bring love, joy, and peace to the world. After adversity comes restoration, and we need resilience planning to bounce back from all that we have gone through this year, and our emotional strength will help us recover quickly. "United we stand, divided we fall…" So let us come together and unite and collaborate, for if we stand in love, no foe will defeat us. Hard work and faith will build a strong nation. Prayer is the key that unlocks all doors, and if you have faith, you will receive whatever you pray for. Come and join us at 9 am in the Lodge Game Room on Dec. 4. All are welcome. Merry Christmas. ~ Cookie Bonner
