Regardless of how you observe the holidays, we would like to wish you a joyous good time. 'Tis the season for being with friends & family, hosting or going to parties, and toasting to a year gone by while looking forward to the one upcoming. The same holds true for us. We worked hard to bring you another successful year of FREE entertainment and pledge to continue to do so in 2018. Our Holiday Show is Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2. Doors open at 6 pm with the performance commencing at 6:30 pm. Our show will be a musical revue and we hope all who want to go will get their tickets at the Lodge front desk. If you have tickets you're not going to use, we ask you turn them back in so others can benefit from their use. This is usually a sell out, as this show has appeal to young and old, alike. It will begin with our ever expanding choir singing carols and seasonal songs. Our headliner will continue to enthrall with her incredible voice, song choices, and stage production. We will end the evening with our audience favorite, the Sing-a-Long. You'll surely still be humming, singing, and smiling as you leave the Ballroom in a great mood. Singing for Seniors classes taught by Susan Youel are cancelled for December. I will update you when classes are scheduled to resume. March 3 - Radio Show #1: If you want to be considered for a part, contact me at terimk@verizon.net or Tom Shelley at tomshelley1@ frontier.com. Casts will be selected in mid-January with rehearsals starting at the end of the month. May 25 & 26 - Comedy Show, titled, "Glad I'm Not Young Anymore:" A variety show with many acts, solos and groups, revolving around our growing older and wiser. Aug. 24 - Radio Show #2 Sept. 29 - "Love, Marriage and Living Life:" This will be a compilation of short funny skits. Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 - A USO Tour, Holiday Show: We will be integrating a USO type military show, the kind that Bob Hope used to do for the troops overseas. Thank you to everyone who came out to our shows in 2017. You've been a great audience and we love entertaining you. There are costs associated with our performances (e.g., music, costumes, props, staging and more), so please continue to contribute what you can at our future performances so we can continue to offer you quality FREE entertainment.
