FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2017 43 Let's Dance Heart & Soul Line Dance The Christmas Dinner Dance on Friday, Dec. 8 from 4 to 8 pm is our last event of the year, so we hope you have your tickets and are joining us for an evening of good fun, good food, good music and good dancing. After that, we'll take a seasonal break, with no dancing activities until Jan. 8, 2018. If you are ready to keep that New Year's Resolution to get healthy, come join our dance group on Monday nights for some great exercise and fun. Our dances include Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Country Two- Step, Cha Cha and other dances. We start a new dance each month. While our professional instructors challenge us to learn new things, they also understand our limitations. With their patient guidance we learn many steps and routines that can be used at weddings, dance parties, social events, on cruises and anywhere we can dance. This club is for regular folks who like to dance. Nothing fancy. No judging or competition. We just do something that's fun together. Some have never danced, so they learn from scratch. Others have some experience so they improve on their dancing skills. Everyone is welcome and everyone enjoys learning to dance. Happy holidays to each of you and we look forward to seeing you in the Ballroom on Monday nights in 2018 at 6:30 pm. Info., Puring or Gary Stifter at (951) 922-8333, or at purings@ verizon.net. ~ Sue Condurachi Is it possible that we are already saying goodbye to 2017? Doesn't it feel like it was just a short while ago that we said goodbye to 2016! So, as we begin getting busier, spending time with loved ones near and far, I want to take the opportunity to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas. To those of you who will be traveling during the holiday season, may you all have safe journeys. I look forward to another year dancing with you. Thank you for all the support you have given me as your Heart and Soul Line Dance instructor. It has been my pleasure. Our holiday celebration will be on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 4 pm until 7:30 pm. No line dance classes on Dec. 27. Our class will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018. Class schedule: Beginner, 4 - 5:15 pm ; Intermediate/Advanced, 5:15 – 6 pm. See you on the dance floor! Info, call Priscilla Robles at (909) 239- 6464. ~ Priscilla Robles Our Holiday Party was a great success. Thank you to our wonderful DJ, Dave Rohrbacker and his wife Janine, for all the work they did before, during, and even after the party to supply us with such great music. December is such a busy, fun month for all of us. It is time to get together with family and friends. While it is a jolly season, it is also, for many, a stressful season. Remember to take time to relax, and to unwind. Music is helpful, no matter what kind of music you prefer; it relieves stress and is good for your soul. Take the time to listen to the beat, tap your foot to the rhythm or get up and dance a few steps. Soon your mind is more relaxed and open to new ideas and thoughts. There will be no classes on Dec. 26. I look forward to Jan. 2 when classes resume. Remember, there is a very beginner's class in January. Our class dances for fun, not perfection. Come give line dancing a try. Meanwhile, I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Info., Martha Franck, (951) 769-3889. ~ Martha Franck Line Dancing The Four Seasons Rainbow Group is an informal opportunity for our LGBTQ neighbors and any other residents who are interested in meeting with us, to keep up to date, to meet new members and to have a relaxing dinner together. We usually meet in alternate months on the fourth Thursday. We don't have a dinner planned for December. We gather at the atrium in the Lodge, then order any Smitty's food items that we want and, weather permitting, sit on the patio (otherwise, we find a convenient area to enjoy our food and company). Feel free to bring your own adult beverage, if you desire, and appropriate glassware. Everyone is welcome. Any questions can be directed to Dale at (951) 797-0364. ~ Dale Beckes Rainbow Group
