42 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2018 | Int'l Culture Club Here we are at the start of a new year, 2018, and we want to wish all of our club members both old and new a very happy and healthy new year. Our first event of the year starts at 5:30 pm on the second Thursday evening in January when the doors to the Ballroom open and you are greeted by Evelyn, our club president and Martie our vice president. You might even be hugged or kissed as you will find we are a very friendly bunch. Music for the evening by Global Affair starts at 6 pm. The dinner buffet by table call starts at 6:30 pm. You will have a pre-set antipasto dinner salad along with garlic bread at your table upon entering. The buffet will have two lines at two stations and moves quickly. You will find a beef and veggie bake, cheese and pepperoni mini pizzas, Italian veggies, and spumoni ice cream with nuts. Coffee and water is table served. Iced tea will be on a side board. Sign-ups are on the first Thursday afternoon in the North Clubhouse, $24 for members and $27 for non-resident guests. Membership dues of $25 pp are now due and must be paid in order to attend.
