I was trying to think of some of the best New Year's Eve movies to watch and I thought of a few but most of them centered around Christmas more than New Years so I settled on When Harry Met Sally starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. This movie is worth watching again since its release in 1989. It's funny, sweet and has a fabulous soundtrack that makes you want to break out in a song. Check out the soundtrack song titles: It Had to Be You, Love Is Here to Stay, Stompin' at the Savoy, But Not for Me, Winter Wonderland, Don't Get Around Much Anymore, Autumn in New York, I Could Write a Book, Let's Call the Whole Thing Off, It Had to Be You (instrumental trio), Where or When. If these are your kind of songs you're in luck because you're sure to find these and more like these when you join us at karaoke. We carry much more beyond the standards but the standards are a great place to start. Barb, Rosie & D.J. Blast will be at the North Clubhouse on Sat., Feb. 10 and the South Clubhouse on Fri., Feb. 23. All shows are from 5:30 to 9 pm. So catch up on old movies and practice your favorite songs at Goodtimes Karaoke this February. We'll keep a mic on for you. Karaoke Group The newly formed club had their first meeting and was welcomed by a full house of eager new members. If you hadn't heard, the Drama Club and Mystery Club joined forces to form this new group. We are looking forward to many new innovations to come from this. Our number one item is the production of That's Entertainment entitled "Adventures Through Time." Show dates are Feb. 22 and 23 at 7 pm and Feb. 24 and 25 at 3 pm. Tables for eight only. Checks only. Feb. 2, 10 am to 1 pm in Main Clubhouse Ballroom, Sat., Feb. 3 and Sun., Feb.4 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse library, and weekdays 9:30 am to 2:30 pm from Feb.5 to 21.
